Big Decisions
Big Decisions
When we married Diane and I divided the responsibilities for the family’s big decisions. Diane decided, where we lived, what schools the kids attended, and a few other minor things. I decided on the big issues, for example, the United States' stance on staying in the UN, and whether or not to open trade with China. Now those decisions are behind us. I’ve hence redirected my considerable talents to other pressing conundrums. Many deep questions now take up most of my day. Below are just a few of the weighty items I have under consideration.
Will Rams fans beat up Raiders fans now that they've moved to Vegas?
Should I keep a kitchen sponge if only the green side is worn-out?
Why do dogs bark at gardeners every week?
Why do garbage trucks pick up early only when you forget to put the cans out?
Does AT&T have any real people working on their help desk?
Why do ice cream ads only affect me when I'm dieting?
Why is there an open box of Arm and Hammer baking soda in every refrigerator in America?
Did the government name them IED’s to make them sound less lethal?
What happened to COVID-1 through COVID-18?
Why are Spam and toilet paper the most hoarded items in the US?
Alas, I must stop. In closing, I implore you to devote some time today to contemplate these items and those other important ones yet to be perused.
P.S. The IED thing bums me out.
